I wouldnt say im shallow, just a little jaded. Im often cold and depthless with another persons feelings and feel horrible about it, but its never enough to stop me from doing it again. Weeding through thousands of people that i cant stand hoping to find one that i can is exhausting. So im giving one last push before i stop fighting off becoming completely glassed over and living a more simple, sensible life. As of now i meet people everywhere. Work, restaurants, the mall, bars, mountains, biglake, downtown....etc. So i guess the only demographic i havent covered is the CL browsers... If i ask for educated i get someone that cant even use proper english, yet they seriously think theyre a genius. Im a firm believer that the first step towards wisdom is becoming aware of how retarded you actually are. Any dipshit can use big words and write something hard to understand. That doesnt make you a literary genius, just a poor linguist. If i ask for polite i get someone that is so one sided that they cant handle a single swear word. Im at a point in my life where ive realized that being polite is only worth the extra effort if the person youre talking to is worth an extra effort. If i ask for a conversationalist i get someone who i could talk to for hours but cant look at for more than a minute. If i gain a couple extra pounds or notice im out of breath from running up stairs i change my diet and bust my ass to get myself back in shape. How the hell can some people look at themselves in the mirror every day and just watch as they let themself go. If i ask for someone who isnt overly emotional or dramatic i get someone with the personality of a brick. I can enjoy mindless heavy metal while doin 80 down the highway, or i can sit in a car for an hour and listen to the rain. If i ask for someone whos got a taste for adventure theyre a 'one track mind' type that only wants to hike and exercise. Dogs get enjoyment from running. Is that as deep as you get? If i as
